Good afternoon, Ms. Wood.

I am the trademark examining attorney at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office assigned to these six applications.

I have reviewed them and have found a few issues that we can handle through Examiner’s Amendments.

First, I am requiring a disclaimer of “JAPAN” as to all six marks due to the geographically descriptive nature of the word.

Second, for the Class 25 and Class 41 IDs, there are a few small edits that I am requiring.

Application Nos. 88071049 and 88071067

Class 25: T-Shirts; Shirts; Sweatshirts; Tank tops; Pants; Sweatpants; Pullovers; Jeans; Shorts; Sleepwear; Coats; Jackets; Vests; Sweaters; Scarves; Bandanas; Gloves; Socks; Headwear; Hats and Caps being headwear; Footwear

Application Nos. 88071056 and 88071074

Class 41: Entertainment in the nature of live musical performances,  live artistic performances featuring music and dance; Live visual and audio performances by musicians and dancers; Entertainment services, namely, providing a website featuring non-downloadable music and musical performances, artistic performances, information and ticket information about musical performances and musician appearances, and information, reviews, interviews, and non-downloadable audio and/or video clips in the fields of music, arts, and entertainment that may be distributed via a global computer network, portable and wireless networks and various platforms across multiple forms of transmission media; Entertainment services, namely, providing a website featuring non-downloadable videos and multimedia content featuring music and artistic performances; Entertainment services, namely, providing a website featuring non-downloadable video and audio recordings of music, musical performances, artistic performances, and music videos; Entertainment services, namely, providing information in the fields of general entertainment, music, ticket information about musical performances and musician appearances, and information, reviews, interviews, and non-downloadable audio and video clips in the fields of music, arts, and entertainment that may be rendered via a global computer network, portable and wireless communications devices, and various platforms across multiple forms of transmission media; On-line journals, namely, blogs, in the fields of general entertainment, documentaries, film, music, arts, culture, and topics of general entertainment interest; Entertainment services, namely, providing online video games

If you do agree to these changes, please respond to this email by 4 p.m. EST, December 5. Please let me know if you have any questions.
