USPTO database searched; no conflicting marks found.  The trademark examining attorney searched the USPTO database of registered and pending marks and found no conflicting marks that would bar registration under Trademark Act Section 2(d).  15 U.S.C. §1052(d); TMEP §704.02.

 

Application has been amended as shown below.  As agreed to by Caroline Mankey, attorney of record, on July 12, 2019, the examining attorney has amended the application as shown below.  Please notify the examining attorney immediately of any objections.  TMEP §707.  Otherwise, no response is required.  Id.  In addition, applicant is advised that amendments to the services are permitted only if they clarify or limit them; amendments that add to or broaden the scope of the services are not permitted.  37 C.F.R. §2.71(a).

 

Identification of Services

 

The identification of services is amended to read as follows: 

 

“Providing business support staff services for design management of doors, frames, and hardware in the nature of Builders Hardware, Deadbolts, Door Closers, Electronic and electrified Hardware, Exit Devices, Hinges, Keys and Cylinders, Lites and Louvers, Locksets, Sliding Door Hardware, Threshold and Weatherstrip, Wood, plastic and metal doors, and Wood, plastic and metal frames; business management services, namely, inviting and managing bid submittals on building and construction projects; procurement management services, namely, purchasing Residential and commercial doors, frames, hardware and accessories for others; value engineering, namely, cost analysis for clients” in International Class 35;

 

“Building supply services, namely, providing expertise and guidance as an independent advisor to contractors in the nature of consulting in the field of providing Door, Frame and Hardware product requirements and specifications for repair and installation; consulting in the field of commercial construction and management of commercial construction projects for others” in International Class 37; and

 

“technical support for design management of doors, frames, and hardware in the nature of Builders Hardware, Deadbolts, Door Closers, Electronic and Electrified Hardware, Exit Devices, Hinges, Keys and Cylinders, Lites and Louvers, Locksets, Sliding Door Hardware, Threshold and Weatherstrip, Wood, plastic and metal doors, and Wood, plastic and metal frames, namely, technical administration of electronic architectural models by extracting building information modeling (BIM) objects for design and engineering; Shop drawing services in the nature of drafting engineering drawings for others; in-house detailing in the nature of drafting; Building supply services, namely, providing expertise and guidance as an independent advisor to contractors in the nature of consulting in the field of designing Door, Frame and Hardware product requirements and specifications; technical support for design management of doors, frames, and hardware in the nature of Builders Hardware, Deadbolts, Door Closers, Electronic and Electrified Hardware, Exit Devices, Hinges, Keys and Cylinders, Lites and Louvers, Locksets, Sliding Door Hardware, Threshold and Weatherstrip, Wood, plastic and metal doors, and Wood, plastic and metal frames, namely, drawing of machining sheets and order sheets for installation of doors and frames, Proper hardware type and option selection” in International Class 42.
