The racing ostrich design is partially hidden behind a ribbon banner which appears to wrap around the ostrich. Inside the banner appear the words "SHANKY'S WHIP" in all capital letters. To the right of the banner appear the words "TRADE MARK" in two separate lines. Below the racing ostrich design appears the words "MADE IN IRELAND" above the words "THE ORIGINAL BLACK", which are above the words "LIQUEUR AND WHISKEY BLEND", all in capital letters.
