Note: A response to this email is kindly requested by Friday, March 6, 2020, at which point in time I will have to take action on these applications.

Good Afternoon Ms. Mattessich,

My name is Jeff Sjogren, and I am a trademark examining attorney at the USPTO assigned to two of your applications with Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, being Serial No. 88775853 , Attorney Docket No. 16931.383US0, THRIVENT, and Serial No. 88786892, Attorney Docket No. 16931.385US0, T.  I left you a voicemail a little bit ago, but figured it would be helpful to also have this email for your review.

Everything is mostly in place for the applications to move forward, but I do need to make some changes in order to do so, so I hope we can figure this out together and keep things moving.  For these marks, I need to amend the mark descriptions to designate where the color black is:

The mark consists of the black word "THRIVENT" in lower case letters. The tip of the letter "T" at the end of the word is a red heart design.

The mark consists of a black monogram letter "T". The tip of the "T" is a red heart design.

If these amendments are acceptable, I will issue Examiner’s Amendments and, barring my supervisor’s disagreement, conduct my final review before approving the marks for publication.  If you have any questions, please feel free to email or call me, and I hope we can work through these together.  Talk with you soon.

Best,

Jeff
