Ms. Suh –
With the exception of the first phrase, “Administration of a purchasing program, namely, providing managed service providers and resellers in the field of computer and network security goods and services to enable participant members to obtain flexible payment terms on the purchase of their goods or services through which participants can receive contractual terms consistent with the cashflow of their businesses,” the below suggested wording is acceptable. The first phrase is not acceptable. And honestly, it is very confusing and the nature of the services are unclear to me, and I’m not even sure what I would suggest other than what I suggested in my Office action of March 2nd.
If this is a service that is provided by others, then you can look in the database and see how such services have been worded (and accepted) for others. Please remember that the wording of the identification must be as clear, specific and unambiguous as possible so that the nature of the services is obvious, using the common commercial language for such services when possible (i.e., language that is used by others in the same industry to describe their own services of the same or similar type).
