USPTO database searched; no conflicting marks found. The trademark examining attorney searched the USPTO database of registered and pending marks and found no conflicting marks that would bar registration under Trademark Act Section 2(d). 15 U.S.C. §1052(d); TMEP §704.02.
Application has been amended as shown below. As agreed to by Richard Y. Kim, applicant’s attorney, on 19 December 2019, the examining attorney has amended the application as shown below. Please notify the examining attorney immediately of any objections. TMEP §707. Otherwise, no response is required. Id. In addition, applicant is advised that amendments to the goods are permitted only if they clarify or limit them; amendments that add to or broaden the scope of the goods are not permitted. 37 C.F.R. §2.71(a).
IDENTIFICATION OF GOODS AMENDED
The identification of goods is amended to read as follows:
Class 11: “Standard lamps; portable reading lights; hand-held spotlights; portable headlamps; electric heating cushion for household purposes, not for medical purposes; portable electric fans; electric hair dryers; USB-powered hand warmers; disposable pocket warmers in the nature of non-electric pocket warmers, namely, chemically-activated heating packets for warming hands; hot fomentation pack, not for medical use, in the nature of heating packs filled with chemical substances that react when required to warm the body; LED luminaires; USB-powered pocket warmers for warming hands; non-electric lighting apparatus and devices, namely, chemically-activated light sticks; portable electric heaters; portable air cleaners for household use; potable sterilizer for toothbrush; apparatus to disinfect for cellular phones, namely, sanitizing apparatus using ultraviolet light for sanitizing cellular phones, not for medical purposes”
