Hi again,
To keep it within the realm of information about pet care, the following wording is suggested:
IDENTIFICATION AMENDMENT
Class 44: Dog grooming services; animal grooming services; pet grooming services, namely, washing, cleaning, grooming and drying services for pets and animals, hygiene and beauty treatments for pets and animals; Providing information about pet beauty care, pet care relating to pet health and wellness, and pet grooming services; Providing self-service pet washing facilities
Please let me know if this works for you and if so, I can enter the changes via an EA. I look forward to hearing from you.
Thanks,
Ms. Justine N. Burke

Dear Justine: The amendment seems fine but we would like to add “providing information about pet health and wellness” if possible to add to the class 44 services. Look forward to hearing back from you. /Nancy V. Stephens/
Thank you.

Good morning,
My name is Justine Burke and I am the examining attorney to whom the above referenced application has been assigned. Upon review of the application, a(n) identification amendment is required.
Specifically, the wording “providing information about pet care and pet grooming services” is indefinite and too broad. See 37 C.F.R. §2.32(a)(6); TMEP §§1402.01, 1402.03. This wording is indefinite because it does not make clear the type of pet care about which applicant provides information. For example, this wording could encompass providing information in the field of pet beauty care in Class 44 or providing information about pet care relating to the offering non-denominational blessings for pets in Class 45.
If accurate, applicant may adopt the following wording in Class 44:
IDENTIFICATION AMENDMENT
Class 44: Dog grooming services; animal grooming services; pet grooming services, namely, washing, cleaning, grooming and drying services for pets and animals, hygiene and beauty treatments for pets and animals; Providing information about pet beauty care and pet grooming services; Providing self-service pet washing facilities
Kindly advise whether this requirement is agreeable to you. Please do not hesitate to contact me should you have any further questions. Please get back to me by Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at 12:00 PM EST if possible because I’ll have to get an office action out on this matter by that time. If you hear back from your client after an Office action issues, though, you can of course still contact me for an Examiner’s Amendment, and we take care of this over the phone or via email.
Thanks,
Ms. Justine N. Burke
