The Applicant intends to use the subject application as a basis for securing a foreign registration. As the subject application was filed on October 1, 2019, the Applicant faces a deadline of April 1, 2020 to file a corresponding International Registration application claiming priority from the subject application under the Madrid Agreement. Thus, Applicant is filing this petition to expedite the initial examination of the subject application in order for the Applicant to determine whether this application will be approved for publication in order to use it as a basis for securing a corresponding International Registration under the Madrid Agreement.
