Good afternoon Mr. Lubin,

 

I am the trademark examining attorney reviewing the above referenced application for your client, INVENTEL PRODUCTS. In review of this application, there are a couple of issues that can be corrected without the need for an office action.

 

First, an amended identification of the goods identified in International Class 20 for the application Serial Nos.  88581369, 88609741 and  88609755 is required because some of the wording is indefinite and must be clarified.  Specifically, the suggested identification would read, with suggested changes in bold:

 

International Class 20: Power-operated vaporizers for household purposes; Cooling units for industrial purposes; Personal cooling and misting mats for use alone or with outdoor chairs and lounges; Air cooling apparatus; Air conditioning apparatus; Water sterilizers; Water filtering apparatus; Electric and battery operated aromatherapy units; Water filters; Electric fans; Evaporative air cooling units for domestic use; Misting systems for outdoor cooling; Water filtration pitchers sold empty; Sanitizing apparatus using ultraviolet light for sanitizing phones, tablets, laptops and electronic products not for medical purposes; Electric fans for personal use; Cooling evaporators; Apparatus for filtering drinking water; Water purifying apparatus; Water ionizers; Humidifiers; Electric fans with evaporative cooling devices; Humidifiers for household use; Humidifiers for industrial use; USB-powered humidifiers for household use

 

Please let me know if you would approve of my amending the identification as described.   

 

Further, an amended description of the marks is required for completion and clarity. The suggested description of the mark would read, with suggested changes in bold:

 

For Serial Nos. 88609741 and 88609746:

 

The mark consists of the term “NORDIC” in stylized form with fan pedals that appear to be circling counterclockwise behind the letters "N", "O" and "R".

For Serial Nos. 88609755 and  88609760:

 

The mark consists of the term NORDIC in blue stylized letters that are shaded in light gray with blue fan pedals shaded in light gray that appear to be circling counterclockwise behind the letters "N", "O" and "R". The color white represents background and/or transparent areas and is not a feature of the mark. 

 

Please let me know if you would approve of my amending the mark descriptions as described.
