Subject: US Application Serial # 88536864 Green Cuisine

Dear Mr. Baker, I appreciate all the effort you had to put in to research my simple little Green Cuisine. Your job is very complicated.  I sincerely appreciate your time.

You are astutely correct when you say "Consumers would immediately understand that applicant;s entire goods are primarily plant based: - I am counting on it to happen that way. What is unique is that my plant foods offer the consumer as much protein as what they are accustomed to getting from animal products beef, fish and chicken - which consumers are not familiar with but are slowly beginning to realize from the growing popularity of plant based high protein products such as Beyond Meat, the Impossible Burger and a mung bean egg substitute.

My use of the word green in Green Cuisine has a triple meaning referring to (1) plants as the source of my foods, (2) good tasting entrees with protein amounts equivalent to the animal entrees, and (3) climate friendliness (ala AOC's Green New Deal) vastly reducing the large amount of carbon put into the atmosphere to produce edible meat, especially beef. The definition of "green" is broadening (prior to being put into dictionaries) to refer to "combating the threat of global warming" which I hope to capitalize on. The Impossible Burger and Beyond Meat are the first plant based high protein products on the market and they had to position themselves as equal in taste satisfaction and mouth feel as animal meat in order to gain consumer acceptance . I hope to capitalize on their pioneering efforts to establish consumer acceptance of plant protein flavor quality so I then can concentrate my efforts on the appeal to to those consumers concerned about global warming. Plant based protein has only 10% of the carbon footprint of beef.

I hope you will reconsider and approve my trademark Green Cuisine. I think the category # it fits into is 029.

Thank you.   Richard Brown  Serial # 88536864
