Thank you for your note. Please visit the following website for more information on the U.S. Counsel rule that became effective on August 3, 2019:
Following is information on hiring a U.S. Attorney: http://www.gov.uspto.report/trademarks-getting-started/why-hire-private-trademark-attorney
In light of the new rule, I am not permitted to answer your questions or correspond with you directly. As explained, a U.S. licensed attorney is required for all foreign domiciled applicants.

Subject: The questions about the Office action of the U.S. Trademark Application Serial No. 88503151.
Dear C. S. Young
Very sorry to bother you.
For this e-mail, we are not response to the office action, We just have some questions about the contents of the Office action of the U.S. Trademark Application.
On the official letter, it said we need “Applicant Must Appoint U.S.-Licensed Attorney”.
But we apply for the trademark in the name of an individual and we did not select the option "appoint a U.S.-Licensed Attorney". Why we need provide this?
We are very confused about this point and our Serial Number is 88503151 .
we hope to receive your answer.
Have a good day.
Yours Zheng Fang
