Subject: U.S. Application Serial No. 88480082
Dear Michael Bradford:
Thanks for discussing this application with me on the phone.
The following are suggested identifications all in International Class 22, depending on how the applicant wishes to identify the type of top by common commercial name for the goods as related to either a canopy, a tarpaulin, or an unfitted tarp.
1. Boat tops in the nature of canopies of textile or synthetic materials; removable boat tops in the nature of canopies of textile or synthetic materials that extend overhead from the front or rear of a boat structure such as a T-top or tower.
2. Boat tops in the nature of tarpaulins; removable boat tops in the nature of tarpaulins that extend overhead from the front or rear of a boat structure such as a T-top or tower.
3. Boat tops in the nature of unfitted tarps for providing protection from the elements; removable boat tops in the nature of unfitted tarps that extend overhead from the front or rear of a boat structure such as a T-top or tower.
Please feel free to provide any other suggestions which may identify the common commercial name for the top.
Once we conclude with an acceptable identification of goods, I can amend the identification and classification accordingly by examiner’s amendment.
I look forward to hearing from you once you have time to discuss this with the applicant.
If you have any questions or need additional information, please feel free to email or even call as it may be faster than email and I am typically at my desk- 571-272-9459.
