Dear Mr. Kunin,

 

I am the examining attorney at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office assigned to U.S. Trademark Application No. 88458344.  I have reviewed the application, and there is one small issue that can be corrected without the need for an Office Action.

 

Identification of Goods Requirement 

 

We require an amended identification of the goods because the wording “Pipe joints, pipe connectors, pipe couplings and pipe valves of metal” and “threadless pipe joints, threadless pipe connectors, threadless pipe couplings and threadless pipe valves of metal” is indefinite and too broad. 

 

The following amended Identification of Goods is suggested, if accurate, with changes in bold:

 

“Pipe joints, pipe connectors, pipe couplings and pipe valves, all of the foregoing made of metal; threadless pipe joints, threadless pipe connectors, threadless pipe couplings and threadless pipe valves, all of the foregoing made of metal; parts and fittings for all the aforesaid goods in this class” in Class 6.

 

Please let me know by close of business on Thursday, August 29, 2019 if you approve of my amending the identification as described.  If you agree, I can make the change for you via Examiner’s Amendment, and the application may proceed toward registration.  If I don’t hear from you, I will issue an Office Action.
