NONFINAL OFFICE ACTION
The USPTO must receive applicant’s response to this letter within six months of the issue date below or the application will be abandoned. Respond using the Trademark Electronic Application System (TEAS). A link to the appropriate TEAS response form appears at the end of this Office action.
Issue date: March 09, 2020
This Office Action is in response to applicant’s communication filed on 2/24/2020.
The following requirements and/or refusals are maintained and continued: SPECIMEN ISSUE; MARK DESCRIPTION
Applicant must respond to the following new issue(s), discussed below:
IDENTIFICATION
In this case, the application originally identified the goods and/or services as follows: “Licensing of advertising slogans and cartoon characters.”
However, the proposed amendment identifies the following goods and/or services: “Livestock.”
This proposed amendment is beyond the scope of the original identification because livestock is a completely different good compared to the originally identified services, Licensing of advertising slogans and cartoon characters. This is animals versus licensing, two totally different things. Applicant’s goods and/or services may be clarified or limited, but may not be expanded beyond those originally itemized in the application or as acceptably amended.
