Dear Ms. Prose,
Unfortunately, I cannot accept the proposed amendment as “office…relaxation, mindfulness” inflatable travel mats are not recognized goods and would require further clarification. In addition, “office mats” do not appear to be clearly within the scope of “travel mats”.
Please let me know if applicant would like to proceed with the above wording deleted. I suggest:
“Inflatable travel beach, yoga, meditation, personal exercise, and personal sitting mats.”
Best Regards,
Emma Sirignano

Hi Emma,
Thank you for you reaching out. I have spoken with the applicant and we propose the following identification in Class 27:
" Inflatable travel beach, office, yoga, meditation, relaxation, mindfulness, personal exercise, personal sitting mats.”"
Please let me know if this identification is acceptable. We believe there should be no issue since they are inflatable travel mats, but if there is any issue with any of the added terms, please let us know. We believe the only term that may be at issue is "office" mats (as in the mats may be used as inflatable travel mats for office setting). If this is not appropriate for Class 27 we will delete the term "office.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Best regards,
Amanda

Dear Ms. Prose,
Hello, my name is Emma Sirignano and I am an examining attorney with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. I am reviewing the trademark applications for ZENGO, Serial Nos. 88428051 and 88428054. There is one issue I’d like to discuss with you about the applications that can be resolved with applicant’s agreement.
Identification of Goods: The wording of the identification needs to be amended because the wording is too broad. The wording can identify goods in at least two different classes. Currently, applicant has paid the class fee for one class of services. Applicant may amend the wording to identify only one of the classes listed below or pay the additional class fee to identify both classes of goods. Please let me know how applicant would like to proceed. I can amend the identification for applicant with applicant’s approval. If applicant is adding the class, I can give you instructions about how to pay the fee. I suggest amending the identification to:
Class 20 – “Inflatable travel [applicant to specify, e.g. sleeping, infant playpen, diaper changing] mats.”
Class 27 – “Inflatable travel [applicant to specify, e.g. beach, yoga, meditation, personal exercise, personal sitting] mats.”
Please respond as whether applicant agrees to these amendments. If applicant agrees to amending to one class, I can make the amendments through an examiner’s amendment and approve the application for publication.
If you would prefer, I would be happy to discuss this over the telephone at the number listed below. If you have any questions, please let me know.
Best Regards,
Emma Sirignano
