USPTO database searched; no conflicting marks found.  The trademark examining attorney searched the USPTO database of registered and pending marks and found no conflicting marks that would bar registration under Trademark Act Section 2(d).  15 U.S.C. §1052(d); TMEP §704.02.

 

Application has been amended as shown below.  As agreed to by Ankur Patel on July 22, 2019, the examining attorney has amended the application as shown below.  Please notify the examining attorney immediately of any objections.  TMEP §707.  Otherwise, no response is required.  Id.  In addition, applicant is advised that amendments to the goods and/or services are permitted only if they clarify or limit them; amendments that add to or broaden the scope of the goods and/or services are not permitted.  37 C.F.R. §2.71(a).

 

The identification of services in Class 42 is amended to read as follows:  “Providing internet-based data capture services that enable the exchange of information via the internet from residential mortgage borrowers to institutions for use in loan workouts; Software as a service (SAAS) services featuring software for the real estate finance industry for mortgage processing and underwriting; providing an online non-downloadable Internet-based system application featuring technology enabling users to review financial planning materials; Providing temporary use of on-line non-downloadable software development tools for consumer lending; computer services, namely, providing a website featuring a search engine for obtaining data, namely, real estate information; software as a service (SAAS) services featuring software for use in customer relationship management (CRM); software as a service (SAAS) services featuring software for searching, retrieving, viewing and providing real estate and rental listings and information and maps and information pertaining to surrounding neighborhoods and communities, schools, restaurants, grocery stores, amenities, landmarks, parks and recreation, crime rates, commute and travel information, and reviews.”  See TMEP §§1402.01, 1402.01(e).
