RESPONSE TO SUSPENSION NOTICE

On July 19, 2019, the Examining Attorney issued a Suspension Notice and noted the existence of U.S. Registration No. 2255914, registered on June 22, 1999 and advised the Applicant that the USPTO will not issue two or more identical registrations on the same register.  In response, Applicant advises that U.S. Registration No. 2255914 will not be renewed and will be cancelled at the end of the six-month automatic grace period set to expire on December 22, 2019.

The foreign registration that is the basis of the U.S. application under Section 44(e) of the Trademark Act (15 U.S.C. Section 1126(e)) includes a claim of standard characters or the country of origin's standard character equivalent.
