DATABASE SEARCH:  The trademark examining attorney has searched the USPTO’s database of registered and pending marks and has found no conflicting marks that would bar registration under Trademark Act Section 2(d).  TMEP §704.02; see 15 U.S.C. §1052(d).

 

 

APPLICATION HAS BEEN AMENDED:  In accordance with the authorization granted by Mr. Neil D. Gershon, attorney of record, on June 12, 2019, the trademark examining attorney has amended the application as indicated below.  Please advise the undersigned immediately of any objections.  Otherwise, no response is necessary.  TMEP §707.  Any amendments to the identification of goods and services may clarify or limit the goods and services, but may not add to or broaden the scope of the goods and services.  37 C.F.R. §2.71(a); see TMEP §§1402.06 et seq.

 

 

Amendment of Identification of Goods and Services

The identification of goods and services is amended to read as follows: 

 

Class 9: Scientific research apparatus, namely, automated tissue sectioning, collection and preparation for research and diagnostic use for cancer testing, other tissue testing and other tissue analysis

 

Class 10: Automated apparatus for collecting and preparing tissue samples for pathology, histology or other tissue analysis for medical use; automated tissue sectioning apparatus for medical use; automated microtomy apparatus for cutting tissue samples for medical use; automated apparatus for transferring sectioned tissue samples to tape for medical use; automated apparatus for transferring tissue samples to slides for pathology, histology or other tissue analysis for medical use; automated apparatus for the preparation of tissue specimen glass slides for pathology, histology or other tissue analysis for medical use; diagnostic tissue specimen glass slides for collecting and storing tissue samples and materials for use with diagnostic glass slides for storing tissue samples; diagnostic tissue sample carrying tape for collecting and transferring multiple sectioned tissue specimens within the automated apparatus

 

Class 42: Medical laboratory services for tissue sectioning, collection and preparation; preparation of tissue sample slides for research and testing for scientific and medical research purposes; pathology and histology laboratory services; tissue testing services for scientific and medical research purposes; tissue analysis services for scientific and medical research purposes
