RE: Trademark Application for Ser #88323188   Hello Mark,   Thank you for your message.   I trust you received the Office action issued on May 11, 2019.  In the Office action, I ask that the applicant’s identity be clarified, and you can respond by indicating that the applicant is the company rather than you as an individual.   The identification of goods/services may only be amended to limit or clarify the original identification, but not to change or expand the scope of the original ID.  Further to your inquiry, I took another look at the ID in your application, and it requires further amendment to delete the reference to “sale” and clarity with respect to the subject matter of the services, e.g., “The bringing together, for the benefit of others, of a variety of goods and services, enabling customers to conveniently view and purchase those goods and services from an Internet web site particularly specializing in the marketing of the sale of goods and services of others in the field of {specify the types of goods and services, e.g., furniture and home decor}”; however an amendment to Class 20 goods would not be acceptable as being beyond the scope of the originally identified services.   You may, of course, file a new application for Class 20 goods.   If you elect to respond to the Office action, please be aware of the six-month deadline of November 11, 2019.   Regards,   Betty Chang US Patent & Trademark Office Examining Attorney Law Office 115

Hello Mark,

Thank you for your message.

Subject: Trademark Application for Ser #88323188

Hi Betty,

I made a couple of mistakes in filling out the trademark application for my business. I am trying to secure the trademark name AshMark, the serial number of my application is 88323188. I inadvertently put down a class of 35 thinking it included both goods and services, I should have put down class number 020 Furniture and Articles Not Otherwise Specified. I also put my name (Mark Fritz) down as the owner of the trademark when it is actually AshMarkllc, the company I own.

Is there a way I can remedy the two mistakes discussed above I made on my application?

For your convenience I have attached my application files.

Please advise,

Thank you for your time Betty,

Mark Fritz
