Subject: Trademark Applications - Serial Nos. 88287735 and 88311562
Importance: High
Hi Ms. Tsui-Yip,
I am the examining attorney assigned to the following trademark applications: “BULLETPROOF NETS” (Serial No. 88287735) and “BULLETPROOF SIMULATOR SCREENS” (Serial No. 88311562). I have reviewed each application and each has one issue that must be addressed before the mark proceeds forward. Fortunately, each issue can be resolved with an examiner’s amendment.
Specifically, the term “NETS” must be disclaimed in Serial No. 88287735 and “SIMULATOR SCREENS” must be disclaimed in Serial No. 88311562 as “NETS” describes the nature of the goods and “SIMULATOR SCREENS” describes the goods in which the applicant’s sports nets will be used in connection therewith.
If you would please review and let me know how you would like to proceed, I would appreciate it. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you,
Thomas Young
