DATABASE SEARCH:  The trademark examining attorney has searched the USPTO’s database of registered and pending marks and has found no conflicting marks that would bar registration under Trademark Act Section 2(d).  TMEP §704.02; see 15 U.S.C. §1052(d).

 

APPLICATION HAS BEEN AMENDED:  In accordance with the authorization granted by Anne Downey on May 7, 2019, the trademark examining attorney has amended the application as indicated below.  Please advise the undersigned immediately of any objections.  Otherwise, no response is necessary.  TMEP §707.  Any amendments to the identification of goods and/or services may clarify or limit the goods and/or services, but may not add to or broaden the scope of the goods and/or services.  37 C.F.R. §2.71(a); see TMEP §§1402.06 et seq.

 

Identification of Goods

 

The identification of goods is amended to read as follows:  “Counter UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) system, comprising sensors for the detection of UAVs, electronic apparatus for processing and evaluation of sensor data and jammers for performing electromagnetic countermeasures against the detected UAVs; counter-drone system comprised of proximity sensors, electronic controllers for drones, and electronic devices for locating drones using radio frequency, optical, thermal, acoustics, and human observation; drone countermeasures systems, namely, radio transmitters for use as radio frequency jamming devices, laser dazzlers, and directed energy weapons in the nature of infrared lasers capable of delivering significant thermal energy at a distance, high powered microwave and RF transmitters capable of disrupting radio receivers and other electronic devices, and visible lasers capable of temporarily and/or permanently disrupting optical sensors; Unmanned aerial system (UAS) defeat system in the nature of a counter-drone system composed of a multi-spectral avionic sensor system comprising radio frequency, acoustic, radar, and imagery sensors, electronic controllers for sensors, and electronic devices using cyber electromagnetic activity to detect, identify, and disable UAS in the nature of drones; recorded and downloadable computer software for the detection, tracking, alerting and interdiction of drones and unmanned aerial vehicles; computer hardware and recorded and downloadable software for the operation of counter-unmanned aerial intelligence and defeat systems.”  See TMEP §§1402.01, 1402.01(e).
