Subject: OFFICIAL USPTO COMMUNICATION, Trademark Application Serial No.: 88302169, ("TORNADO")

Mr. Edwards,

Thank you for taking my phone call to answer my questions concerning the amendments to the

identification of goods, and particularly the “fittings” language as it pertains to the nuts, bolts, shafts

and bearings.  Please also note that based on the Response, I am withdrawing the Section 2(d) refusal.

I’d like to propose a slight modification to your amended identification to clarify that the piping is in the

nature of air conditioning piping to ensure proper classification in Class 11, as piping can be categorized

in other Classes.  The following wording may be adopted, if accurate:

In International Class 11:   “Accessories for cooling apparatus and installations and accessories for air-

conditioning apparatus and installations, namely, air filters for air conditioning installations and

evaporative coolers, fittings in the nature of air conditioning unit fans, air conditioning piping, and

plumbing fittings, namely valves and couplers; Heat pumps for sterilizers, not for medical purposes; Heat

pumps for gas burners; Heat pumps for cooking ovens and stoves; Structural and replacement parts for

all the aforementioned goods”

If the proposed changes are acceptable, kindly reply by email or phone indicating as such by the close of

business on Friday, June 26, 2020, (if possible), and the changes may be entered by Examiner’s

amendment.

Please let me know if you have any questions,

Best,

/Robert Cohen/
