Hello Jeff:
I don’t think you will object, but I would like to add the word “and” before “microprocessors” in International Class 42 so that the identification clearly lists the design and development items in a grammatically correct manner.
Once I have your approval for that slight amendment, I can proceed accordingly with the amendment and approve the application for publication.
Brendan

Dear Mr. McCauley,
I received your voicemail yesterday regarding this application, and Applicant proposes to amend the identification of goods and services along the lines you suggested to read as follows:
Class 9: Semiconductors; semiconductor chips; semiconductor chip sets for use in neural networks; microprocessors; all of the foregoing not for use with semiconductor lasers or as optical components or elements of lasers
Class 42: Design and development of semiconductors, semiconductor chips, semiconductor chip sets for use in neural networks, and microprocessors; all of the foregoing not relating to semiconductor lasers or optical components or elements of lasers
If the above amendments are acceptable, please enter them via an examiner’s amendment. If you would require any additional changes to this wording, please feel free to call me at your convenience to discuss. Thank you for your assistance.
Sincerely,
Jeff Dunning
