I am the examining attorney assigned to review the above-referenced trademark application on behalf of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. I have reviewed the application and determined that the identification of goods must be amended to clarify the nature and purpose of the goods and specify whether the goods are for medical [in Class 10] or scientific [in Class 9] purposes.

 

If accurate, applicant may amend to: “Medical devices, namely, patient monitors for detecting patient movement which include patient monitoring sensors and alarms for monitoring the health of the patient and for detecting physical distress in the patient”.
