Subject: 16 trademark applications owned by Loftwall
Dear Mr. Coffman,
I am writing regarding 16 trademark applications owned by Loftwall. In each of these applications, there are minor issues, and I am hoping that we can resolve the issues with Examiner’s Amendments. They are:
Identification of Goods:
Applications:
“Blox” (SNs 88272746 & 88274393), “Flox” (SNs 88271640 & 88272461), “Hush” (SNs 88272768 & 88274473), and “Make Space. Work Better.” (SNs 88273456 & 88273333)
For the applications containing Class 17, the wording needs to be amended to state that the goods are non-metal, and to specify in the beginning what the function of the goods are, in order to ensure proper classification. My suggested amendment is:
Class 17
Acoustic products, namely, sound absorbing and diffusing modular room dividing panels composed of materials which function to control sound
Description of the Mark:
For the applications that are design marks, that is, the mark on a shaded background, the mark description states that the term appears in the center of the box, but on the specimen, the box is much larger and the term is no longer in the center. So that the mark description matches how the mark appears on the specimen, and presumably how it will appear on the only intent-to-use application (“Shift” SN 88274592), I would like to amend the mark description in each of these applications to read as follows:
“Blox” (SN 88274393)
The mark consists of the word “BLOX” in large bold capital letters on a shaded background.
“Flox” (SN 88271640)
The mark consists of an army green background with the capital letters “FLOX” in a bold white font.
“Hush” (SN 88274473)
The mark consists of the word “HUSH” in large bold capital letters on a shaded background.
“Framewall” (SN 88274431)
The mark consists of the word “FRAMEWALL” in large bold capital letters on a shaded background.
“Shift” (SN 88274592)
The mark consists of the word “SHIFT” in large bold capital letters on a shaded background.
“Wave” (SN 88272894)
The mark consists of the word “WAVE” in large bold capital letters on a shaded background.
“Web” (SN 88274495)
The mark consists of the word “WEB” in large bold capital letters on a shaded background.
May I enter all of these changes for you with Examiner’s Amendments? Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you for your cooperation.
Best regards,Alyssa
