Dear Ms. Pollack:

Thank you for reaching out on the additional clarification for the goods in Class 12.

The majority of the proposed changes are fine.  Below shows the proposed common commercial names.

As for, “dropper seat post remotes…”, we believe this wording should be in Class 12.  We note that the recently issued Reg. Nos. 5699296 and 5693612 included similar wording.  For reference, the goods at issue are:  http://www.jensonusa.com/Dropper-Remotes

We look forward to your comments on the changes below:

“Land vehicles and conveyances, namely bicycles, structural parts and fittings for bicycles, accessories for bicycles, namely, fenders, handlebars, handlebar grips, frame pedal strap for tools and tubes, handlebar stems, pedals, bicycle saddles, bicycle seats, dropper seat posts, rigid seat posts, headset, namely, a bicycle component which provides a rotatable interface between the bicycle fork and the bicycle frame, brakes, cranks, sprockets, crank arm protectors, namely, rubber CRANK ARM boot guards for crank arm protection, wheels, wheel hubs, wheel rims, bicycle chains, frame protection, namely, frame protection GRIP tape, TIRE patches, and adhesive semi-rigid PVC SPECIALLY ADAPTED used to protect bicycle frames from impact, bicycle frames, axles, brake rotors, and dropper seat post remotes, namely, remote levers intended for use with telescoping dropper seat posts.” OK

Feel free to contact me at the phone number below.

Dear Ms. Ignacio and Mr. Hintz,

I am writing in regard to your client’s trademark application for the mark TRAIL ONE COMPONENTS, Serial Number 88272925. I am the Trademark Examining Attorney assigned randomly to your client’s trademark application.

Most of the information in your client’s response is acceptable. The only minor issue to be resolved is a clarification of the wording in the identification of goods in International Class 012.

Applicant may adopt the following identification, if accurate:

“Land vehicles and conveyances, namely bicycles, structural parts and fittings for bicycles, accessories for bicycles, namely, fenders, handlebars, handlebar grips, frame PEDAL strap for tools and tubes, handlebar stems, pedals, bicycle saddles, bicycle seats, dropper seat posts, rigid seat posts, headset, namely, a bicycle component which provides a rotatable interface between the bicycle fork and the bicycle frame, brakes, cranks, sprockets, crank arm protectors {clarify common commercial name in International Class 012}, wheels, WHEEL hubs, WHEEL rims, bicycle chains, frame protection {clarify common commercial name in International Class 012}, bicycle frames, axles, brake rotors, and dropper seat post remotes, namely, remote levers intended for use with telescoping dropper seat posts {clarify this clause in International Class 012 or add International Class 009}” in International Class 012.

I would appreciate it if you would please respond with your authorization as soon as possible to resolve this matter promptly. After receipt of your authorization, I will issue an examiner’s amendment and approve the mark for publication.

Please feel free to call me with any questions. I look forward to hearing from you.

Best,

Alison Pollack
