I am the trademark examining attorney reviewing the above referenced application for your client, Muslim Public Affairs Council. In review of this application, there are a couple of issues that can be corrected without the need for an Office action.
First, applicant must specify whether the “nonprofit association” is incorporated or unincorporated. See TMEP 803.03(c). Please let me know whether the nonprofit association is incorporated or unincorporated.
Additionally, the Section 2(f) claim appears to be unnecessary, therefore applicant has the option to withdraw this claim. Please let me know if you would like to withdraw the Section 2(f) claim.
