A disclaimer is a statement for the record that the applicant is not claiming exclusive rights to use a particular word apart from the mark.  For example, a disclaimer statement for “PIANO” would read as follows:

 

               No claim is made to the exclusive right to use “PIANO” apart from the mark as shown.

 

For these three applications, we need the following disclaimers:

 

·        PIANO PRAISE (Serial No. 88237630) needs a disclaimer of “PIANO.”

·        BIBLE TREASURES (Serial No. 88247530) needs a disclaimer of “BIBLE.”

·        THE INCOMPARABLE JESUS (Serial No. 88248785) needs a disclaimer of “JESUS.”
