USPTO database searched; no conflicting marks found. The trademark examining attorney searched the USPTO database of registered and pending marks and found no conflicting marks that would bar registration under Trademark Act Section 2(d). 15 U.S.C. §1052(d); TMEP §704.02.
Application has been amended as shown below. As agreed to by Rebecca Wilson, Esq. on September 17, 2020, the examining attorney has amended the application as shown below. Please notify the examining attorney immediately of any objections. TMEP §707. Otherwise, no response is required. Id. In addition, applicant is advised that amendments to the goods and/or services are permitted only if they clarify or limit them; amendments that add to or broaden the scope of the goods and/or services are not permitted. 37 C.F.R. §2.71(a).
Amendment of Identification of Goods and/or Services
The identification of goods and/or services is amended to read as follows:
“Hobby project craft kits comprised of one or more of the following items, namely, pens, pencils, markers, glues for stationery or household use, paper, cardboard, interlocking pieces of cardboard, stencils, patterns for the transferring of graphic designs to textiles or paper, and decorative overlays made of plastic, stencils for the purpose of transfer of graphic design onto any surface, patterns for the transferring of graphic designs to textiles or paper, and decorative overlays made of wood, stencils, patterns for the transferring of graphic designs to textiles or paper, and decorative overlays made of metal, instructional booklets in the field of arts and crafts, instruction manuals, chalk, bookmarks, instructional books in the field of arts and crafts, crayons, scissors, glitter for stationery purposes, glue adhesives for stationery or household use, albums for photographs, stamps, and pictures, blank cards, cardstock, greeting cards, notebooks, fabric markers, stickers; adhesive tapes for stationery or household use; shaped forms made of paper in the nature of paper die cut shapes; molds for modelling clay; ink stamps; scrapbook albums and pages; colored art and craft sand; arts and craft paint kits,” in International Class 16.
