Mr. von Vorys,

 

I am the trademark examiner assigned to the marks H HEALTHCARE PROJECT DELIVERY CONFERENCE in Trademark Application Serial Nos. 88200774 and 88200711.  There are some minor issues that need to be addressed before the applications can proceed.

 

Both applications require additional disclaimers because the wording “HEALTHCARE PROJECT DELIVERY” is also descriptive of the subject matter of the connected business conferences.  Therefore the proper disclaimer should read “HEALTHCARE PROJECT DELIVERY CONFERENCE”.

 

In addition there are some inaccuracies in the mark description.  I believe the following is accurate:

 

No. 88200774 - The mark consists of the stylized letter "H" made up from multiple squares, each bisected diagonally forming triangles, and each triangle colored either yellow, orange, red, green or blue to the right of the words “HEALTHCARECARE PROJECT DELIVERY CONFERENCE”, with the word “HEALTH” in blue,  “CARE” in red, “PROJECT DELIVERY” in gray and “CONFERENCE” in blue.

 

No. 88200711 - The mark consists of the stylized letter "H" made up from multiple squares, each bisected diagonally forming triangles, and each triangle colored either yellow, orange, red, green or blue above the words “HEALTHCARECARE PROJECT DELIVERY CONFERENCE”, with the word “HEALTH” in blue, “CARE” in red, “PROJECT DELIVERY” in gray and “CONFERENCE” in blue.
