Thanks for your e-mail (received while I was out of the office). I will be happy to make the changes to the identification in the referenced ENTREBREWNEUR application and send you a confirmation letter called an “Examiner’s Amendment.” You may simply keep the amendment for your records. There is no need to respond further on that particular application.
Meanwhile, I would be happy to discuss the others that you mentioned. I have a lot of meetings and appointments today and tomorrow. Would you be available Friday morning in the 8-10 range (Pacific time)? Is there a time that works best? If that doesn’t work, how does Monday look for you?
Also, with respect to the other applications, I noticed several specimen issues. If you haven’t already watched it, I recommend watching Video 8 regarding specimens found on the following webpage: http://www.gov.uspto.report/trademarks-getting-started/process-overview/trademark-information-network . With respect to applications for goods, acceptable specimens include photos of the mark on the goods and packaging, tags or labels for the goods with the mark thereon. Sometimes we can take a website screen shot or catalog as long as the mark is near a picture of the goods or description of the goods AND you can directly order the goods by using the specimen (such as an “add to cart” link on a website or an order form provided with a catalog). However, regular advertisements are NOT acceptable specimens when an application covers goods like various beverages.

As you may recall, there is only one procedural issue that needs addressed, namely, clarification of the identification of services. I had suggested the following identification:
Education services, namely, providing training and seminars in the fields of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage making; Continuing education services, namely, providing live and on-line continuing professional education seminars in the field of making both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages; Providing continuing business education courses; Vocational education in the field of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage making; Vocational education in the fields of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage making, in Class 41.
If you like my suggestion or have another acceptable suggestion, I would be happy to make the changes to the application and send you a confirmation letter called an Examiner’s Amendment. In that case, you could simply keep the amendment for your records and there would be no need to further respond to the letter (Office action) that I sent you. I will happily look at any e-mails you send upon my return.
