Subject: In Re Trademark Application Serial No. 88170005 (CAR GUARD) - Docket No. 18961.00
Dear Mr. Stringham,
I am the trademark examining attorney assigned to the above-referenced trademark application. The application is in good shape, however, a disclaimer of “CAR” is required since the identified goods pertain to vehicles. At this point I’m going to treat the word “GUARD” as suggestive, however, please be aware that upon further review the entire mark may be found to be merely descriptive of the identified goods. For now, however, a disclaimer of “CAR” will suffice.
With your authorization, I can make the necessary change with an Examiner’s Amendment and move this application forward. Please let me know as soon as possible.
Best Regards,
/Jason R. Nehmer/
