Subject: PROTEXX-SHIELD Trademark Application (Serial No. 88161449)
Dear Ms. Gibbs,
I am writing to follow up on the Response to Office Action you filed yesterday on Trademark Application Serial No. 88161449 for PROTEXX-SHIELD. Insulation is properly classified in International Class 017, so while the original ID was for “protective parts for land vehicle components” in International Class 012, these goods should be reclassified, and reworded so that the insulation is the main identifiable feature, similar to in the claimed prior registration. I am proposing the following amended ID:
International Class 017: Thermal insulation for batteries, for use in land vehicles.
If this is acceptable, please let me know and I will issue an Examiner’s Amendment and move the application forward.
Thank you,
John Sullivan
