Subject: In Re Trademark Application Serial No. 88159915 (BLUELAND)
Dear Ms. Mikulina,
I am the trademark examining attorney assigned to the above-referenced trademark application. The application is in generally good shape, however, the identification of goods requires some minor amendments. Specifically, in International Class 3, the wording “Household cleaning products and laundry products” requires additional information in the nature of the specific products. The wording “Household cleaning preparations” is acceptable, but “Laundry products” on its own is not. In International Class 5, the wording “including” and the parentheses are not acceptable. I suggest merely changing the ID to include both “disinfectant soaps” and “antibacterial soaps”. The required areas of change are displayed here:
Class 3: “Household cleaning products and laundry products, namely, {specify particular products}; dish detergents; all-purpose cleaners; glass cleaners; hair shampoos; hair conditioners; non-medicated body lotions; non-medicated soaps; body wash for humans; room fragrances”
Class 5: “Disinfectant soaps;
includingantibacterial soaps.”
With your input and authorization, I can make these changes with a simple Examiner’s Amendment and move this application forward. Please note that I will need to hear back from you no later than Monday, February 3rd or I will need to issue an Office Action requiring your response. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Best Regards,
/Jason R. Nehmer/
