I am the Trademark Examining Attorney at the United States Patent and Trademark Office reviewing your trademark application for the Thorlabs, Inc. design mark in Serial No. 88123635. Thank you for your recent response; I wanted to discuss the following issue with you.

 

Identification of Goods: My apologies, but it appears I inadvertently made a suggestion to the identification of goods which is somewhat broader than the scope of the original application (I believe I may have taken the language from one of the co-pending applications). Thus, I propose amending the identification to the following, deleting the extraneous “manual and” language to avoid scope issues:
