Subject: U.S. TRADEMARK APPLICATION NO. 88114715 - SAVED BY SKATEBOARDING
Dear Ms. Gautsch,
This application was approved for publication but approval has been withdrawn because the identification was found to be unacceptable upon a pre-publication review. As written, “trucks and wheels” are viewed as separate, distinct goods, and would be in International Class 12. However, if the goods are “skateboard trucks” and “skateboard wheels,” these goods would be in International Class 28. “Bearings” in International Class 28 is also indefinite. If the goods are “ball bearings for skateboards,” they would be in International Class 28. Finally, “grip tape” is also indefinite and may encompass goods in another class.
Accordingly, the following identification is suggested for International Class 28, if accurate:
Complete skateboards, skateboard decks, skateboard trucks, skateboard wheels, ball bearings for skateboards, skateboard grip tape, skateboard bags. International Class 28.
If these amendments are acceptable, please let me know and I will enter them by Examiner’s Amendment.
Best regards,
/Sara Benjamin/
