Dear Examining Attorney Griffin,

Thank you for your prompt review and communication regarding the MANTRA and SANCTUARY trademark applications.  Applicant respectfully requests that the identification of goods in each application be amended to read as follows:

“Paddle boards and accessories therefor, namely, paddles, pumps specially designed for inflating paddle boards, leashes, and carry backpacks specially adapted for carrying paddle boards,” in Int’l Class 28.

An Examiner’s Amendment to this effect would be most appreciated.

Kind regards,

CR MILES P.C.

Cheryl Anderson, Esq.

Importance: High

Hi Cheryl,

I got your response for these two applications.  Both have the same ID.  The ID as amended reads:

Paddle boards and accessories therefor, namely, paddle, pump, leash, cell phone dry bag, carry backpack

The problem is that some of these “accessories” could be in different classes.  Most pumps are not in Class 28, but  ones specially designed for inflating paddle boards are OK in 28.  Same thing with backpacks, they have to be “specially adapted” for carrying the goods.  The cell phone dry bags, alas, are in Class 18 regardless of use.  So we can do the following:

Paddle boards and accessories therefor, namely, paddleS, pumpS SPECIALLY DESIGNED FOR INFLATING PADDLE BOARDS, leashES, cell phone dry bag, AND carry backpackS SPECIALLY ADAPTED FOR CARRYING PADDLE BOARDS (Class 28).

If the applicant would like to add Class 18 I can send you instructions on how to pay for the additional class.

Please let me know if that amended wording is acceptable, and if so, I can enter the change for you via an examiner’s amendment and get these approved for publication.

Regards,

Jim Griffin
