The request can be filed electronically via the Section 7 request form available at http://teasroa.gov.uspto.report/s7r/.
Since your request will be considered as a correction, the usual fee for a Section 7 amendment is not required. However, please enter a statement in the “Miscellaneous Statement” field on the form indicating that because the amendment was filed prior to registration, no fee is required. If you do not enter this statement, the Post Registration examiner will issue an Office action requiring payment of the fee.
