I have reviewed the responses for the above-referenced applications. For both applications, there are two minor edits needed for Class 10 before the marks could be approved for publication.
“Medical device, namely, an ophthalmological digital imaging system composed of a medical pediatric digital imaging and display device for capturing, storing, and displaying images of the retina and a digital video recorder, keyboard, touchpad, software for mapping retina images to identify anomalies and for controlling a retina camera, and data sheets and instructional manuals for controlling the scientific [substitute “scientific” with “medical”] imaging apparatus, all of the foregoing sold as a unit for scientific [substitute “scientific” with “medical”] research purposes, excluding apparatus and instruments for diagnosing diabetic retinopathy” – Class 10.
The amendment to Class 9 is acceptable. With your permission, I can enter the amendment to Class 10 via Examiner Amendments and approve the marks for publication.
