Hi Brian,
I am the Trademark Examiner assigned to the following “CENTRAL PERK” trademark applications: 87960481, 88008231, 88008257, 88008285, 88008301, 88008340, 88008371, and 88010168. I need an amended mark description for all of the marks. My suggestion is below:
The mark consists ofThe mark consists of a design of a banner above a shaded oval flanked by coffee cups with steam rising above them, with the banner bearing the stylized wording "CENTRAL" and the shaded oval bearing the stylized wording "PERK" with a dot design on either side of the wording "PERK".
Further, I need an amended identification of goods in some of the marks. My suggestions are below:
88010168 – International Class 009: Mouse pads; cellular telephone accessories, namely, cellular telephone covers and cellular telephone face covers being cellular telephone faceplates; decorative magnets
88008285 – International Class 016: Stationery, blank journals, memo pads, adhesive notepads, binder clips, pens
88008231 – International Class 021: Chopping boards for kitchen use; stone coasters; oven mitts; pot holders
88008257 – International Class 025: Clothing for men, women, and children, namely, shirts, t-shirts, tank tops, sweatshirts, hoodies, socks, aprons; hats, caps with visors, visors being headwear
; embroidery patches for clothing
Please let me know if you approve of these changes and I will enter them for you with Examiner’s Amendments.
“Embroidered patches for clothing” is misclassified and belongs in International Class 026. I can just delete it, or if you would like, I can send a combined Examiner’s Amendment/Priority Action for that application and you can respond by adding International Class 026 to the application and paying the required fee.
