The applicant is not claiming color as a feature of the mark.
The mark consists of a stylized design of a shield with a snake in the center and the word "SLYTHERIN" in a banner under the shield. Above the shield appears a stylized design of a helmet of armor with a second snake at the top of the helmet. The shield is surrounded on either side by a fanciful scroll design.
