Dear Bianca Allen,

Your email below is well received with thanks. Please be advised that the applicant has agreed with the following transliteration, please make the change via the Examiner's Amendment. Thank you.

The non-Latin characters in the mark transliterate to “MINISO” and this has no meaning in a foreign language.

Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.

Best regards,

Robert Xu

Dear Mr. Xu:

I have reviewed your March 28, 2018 office action response, and have discovered one additional issue that was not previously noted. With your input and express authorization, I can make the below changes and issue an Examiner’s Amendment. I apologize for any inconvenience.

Transliteration

Applicant must submit a transliteration of the non-Latin characters in the mark, with either a translation of the corresponding non-English wording or a statement that the transliterated term has no meaning in a foreign language.  A transliteration is the phonetic spelling, in Latin characters, of the terms in the mark that are in non-Latin characters.

If the transliterated wording has an English translation, applicant should submit the following transliteration statement, if accurate:

The non-Latin characters in the mark transliterate to “{enter transliteration}” and this means “{enter translation}” in English.

If the transliterated wording does not have an English translation, applicant should submit the following transliteration statement, if accurate:

The non-Latin characters in the mark transliterate to “{enter transliteration}” and this has no meaning in a foreign language.

As noted above, with your input and express authorization, I can make the above changes and issue an Examiner’s Amendment.

Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions or concerns. Again, I apologize for any inconvenience. Thank you!

Sincerely,

Bianca
