(1) Parent (original) application serial no. 87/673599 contains the following goods (Software for setting up, configuring, and controlling wearable computer hardware and peripherals; downloadable computer software application which allows users to create avatars, graphic icons, symbols, graphical depictions of people, places and things, fanciful designs, comics and phrases that can be posted, shared and transmitted via email, online chatrooms; computer software application for creating video games, television shows; computer software for generating computer generated codes and quick response codes) in class: 9. To avoid abandonment, applicant must continue to file requests for extension of time to file a statement of use (extension requests) or a statement of use within the six-month period after the issuance of the notice of allowance or before expiration of a previously granted extension period. 37 C.F.R. §§2.88(a), 2.89(a)-(b).
(2) Child application serial no. 87/984169 contains the following goods (Computer software application for creating digital animation, movies with user created avatars, graphic icons, symbols, graphical depictions of people, places and things, fanciful designs, comics, and phrases; computer application software for processing electronic payments and transferring funds to and from others; computer software, namely, an electronic financial platform that accommodates both payment and receipt of payment transactions in an integrated mobile phone, mobile device, and web based environment) in class: 9. A statement of use filed on December 2, 2022, meets the minimum filing requirements and has been placed in the child application. The statement of use will be routed to the examining attorney for examination and, if it does not meet all the statutory requirements, the examining attorney will notify the applicant.
