Subject: US Trademark Serial Nos. 87398257 AETHER, 87398249 AETHERSCAN and 87396556 LIU TANK ACTION

Hi Rebecca,

It was a pleasure speaking with you.  There are three applications listed below.  For AETHER and AETHERSCAN, the identification for International Class 36 appears to be misclassified and belongs in International Class 42 which includes “Scientific and technological services and research and design relating thereto; industrial analysis and research services; design and development of computer hardware and software.” See Class Heading for Class 42 http://tmep.gov.uspto.report/RDMS/TMEP/current#/current/TMEP-1400d1e1.html.

87398257 AETHER and 87398249 AETHERSCAN

               Identification

The following is suggested, if accurate (changes in bold):

Class 42 – Machine vision analysis services, namely, imaging-based inspection and analysis services in the field of property damage insurance coverage.

87396556 LIU TANK ACTION

               Disclaimer Required

A disclaimer is required for the word “TANK” as it is descriptive of applicant’s services related to storage tanks.

These changes can be made on my end through an Examiner’s Amendment once you confirm agreement with the above change.  The changes should put the applications in condition for publication.

Please respond to this email by COB Wednesday, June 28, 2017.

Sincerely,

Julie
