The applicant is not claiming color as a feature of the mark.
The mark consists of a shield design consisting of an outer border and a inner border forming a narrow band on the shield with the words "AMERICAN MASSAGE THERAPY ASSOCIATION" appearing in upper case lettering on the narrow band on the shield, with a field centrally located on the shield having a pair of hands extending upward on the field and grasping a torch with flames extending upward from the torch, with an upwardly curved band joined beneath the shield with the letters "AMTA" appearing in upper case lettering on the upwardly curved band; with the letters "amta" appearing in extremely large lower case lettering to the right of the shield design; and the words "american massage therapy association" appearing in smaller lower case lettering beneath the letters "amta".
