I request that our trademark application for the word mark TANDEM be revived and processed.
We need a Corrective Assignment: The last document we submitted, a Trademark Assignment Cover Sheet, confirmed the owner's change of name from New Leaf Speakers LLC to New Leaf Speaker
Management LLC. (The same company, just a change of name.)
However, in the Receiving Party Data section of the Cover Sheet, we made an error and mistakenly filled in "Amy Allison Gray" in the Name line, and "New Leaf Speaker Management
LLC" in the Doing Business As line. Presumably, I should have typed "New Leaf Speaker Management LLC" in both spaces. This may be why we need to complete a Corrective
Assignment.
Apparently, on January 19, 2018, USPTO sent us a Petition to Revive Notice of Deficiency, but we did not receive it and were dismayed to receive the Petition to Revive Denied notice on March 8,
2018.
All of our supporting documents were included with our Trademark Assignment Cover Sheet, including the 2016 Annual Report to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts with our new, amended name,
New Leaf Speaker Management LLC.
At this point, we are requesting that we are allowed to:
1) Reopen our case for obtaining the TANDEM trademark.
2) Pay for our third extension request which was due on 1.12.18 along with the $500 fee
3) Address our notice of deficiency by filing a corrective assignment form noting New Leaf Speaker Management LLC as the name of the receiving party data, without reference to Amy A. Gray
After more than two years in process and more than $2,000 invested to date, we would be very grateful for the opportunity to resolve the matter without restarting the process again.
