Arizona Chemical started as a joint venture between International Paper and American Cyanamid in 1930 in the state of Arizona extracting salt cake. In 1933 the project ended and the mine in
Arizona closed. In 1937 Arizona Chemical built salt cake plants in Texas and no longer operated in Arizona. Arizona Chemical does not manufacture any products or operate an office in the
state of Arizona and has not since 1933.
