Computer software requires the field of use and the purpose of the software. Computer application software for {specify items, e.g., mobile phones, portable media players, handheld computers}, namely, software for {specify the function of the programs, e.g., use in database management, use in electronic storage of data, etc.}
35: analysis of consumer research data and statistics; analysis of market research data and statistics; business data analysis; business research services, namely, providing analysis of real data on specific business issues; compiling and analysing statistics, data and other sources of information for business purposes; data processing services; statistical evaluations of marketing data; systemization of data in computer databases; business consulting services in the field of data analysis
Class 38: communication services, namely electronic transmission of data and documents among users of computers; data casting; data communication by electronic mail; electronic data interchange; electronic data transmission
Class 41: education and training, electronic publications
Applicant must specify how the education and training is provided, classes or seminars, and what the topic of the training is. Electronic publications must specify what the publications are, books, magazines, and specify the field.
Class 42: design and development of big data software architecture, and other technical and software-related services; compiling data for research purposes; computer compatibility services, namely, data mapping; data automation and collection service using proprietary software to evaluate, analyse and collect data; data conversion of electronic information; data mining; data warehousing; development and creation of computer programs for data processing; development of data processing programs for third parties; electronic data storage
Class 45: analysing data in computer databases
Clarification is required as this may be misclassified. Further nformation is required.
Although identifications of goods may be amended to clarify or limit the goods, adding to or broadening the scope of the goods is not permitted. 37 C.F.R. §2.71(a); see TMEP §§1402.06 et seq., 1402.07. Therefore, applicant may not amend the identification to include goods that are not within the scope of the goods set forth in the present identification.
