The mark was first used by the applicant, or the applicant's related company, licensee, or predecessor in interest at least as early as 07/00/2015, and first used in commerce at least as early as 07/00/2015, and is now in use in such commerce. The applicant is submitting one specimen for the class showing the mark as used in commerce on or in connection with any item in the class, consisting of a(n) one of applicant's brochures showing the mark used with doors. Every door sold by the applicant is custom made to specifications selected by the consumer based on information provided in various ones of applicant's brochures, which, for the reasons discussed herein, constitute point-of-sale materials. A consumer who might be interested in purchasing applicant's doors usually order them after either (1) coming to applicant's showroom in Temperance, Michigan and meeting with a representative of the applicant who explains the options available to the consumer, using literature such as this brochure, to inform the consumer about applicant's various lines of doors, or (2) meeting face to face with an authorized distributor of applicant's doors who explains the options available to the consumer using literature, such as this brochure, to inform the consumer about applicant's various lines of doors. When a consumer decides to purchase one of applicant's custom made doors, in almost every case, the customer places an order through one of applicant's representative or through one of applicant's authorized distributors. Applicant's literature, like this brochure, is the primary vehicle through which customers are introduced to the applicant's trademark and to its lines of custom made doors..
