To the Commissioner for Trademarks:

Application serial no. 86059452 BABY-FRIENDLY(Standard Characters, see http://tess2.gov.uspto.report/ImageAgent/ImageAgentProxy?getImage=86059452) has been amended as follows:

CLASSIFICATION AND LISTING OF GOODS/SERVICES
Applicant proposes to amend the following class of goods/services in the application:

Filing Basis: Section 1(a), Use in Commerce: The applicant is using the mark in commerce, or the applicant's related company or licensee is using the mark in commerce, on or in connection with the identified goods and/or services. 15 U.S.C. Section 1051(a), as amended. The mark was first used at least as early as 08/05/1997 and first used in commerce at least as early as 08/05/1997 , and is now in use in such commerce.

Please delete the Certification Statement currently of record and substitute the following as the Certification Statement:The certification mark, as used used by entities authorized by the certifier, certifies that the hospital, maternity center or health care facility complies with standards implementing the Baby-Friendly Health Initiative by, among other requirements, not accepting free or low cost breast milk substitutes and by implementing the the Ten Steps to Successful Breastfeeding program to provide an optimal environment for breastfeeding mothers.
